Novel insights into how halogenation of phenolic compounds affects their capacity to modulate aryl hydrocarbon receptor

In January 2024, a new paper on the topic of endocrine disrupting compounds entitled: Halogenation of common phenolic household and personal care product ingredients enhances their AhR-modulating capacity (https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.bioconjchem.4c00321) was published in Chemosphere by our very own Veronika Weiss as part of her ongoing PhD research.
